Spring in Nara
Spring in Nara is the most popular and beautiful time to visit the city. The mild weather and the sight of cherry blossoms blooming throughout the city make it a dream destination for many tourists.

Nara Park: This park is the heart of the city and the best place to see cherry blossoms. Besides the cherry blossoms, you'll find thousands of deer roaming freely. These deer are considered messengers of the gods and are very friendly. The cherry blossoms blooming around the ancient temples and the deer wandering around create a very photogenic sight.

Todai-ji Temple: Located within Nara Park, this temple is home to a giant bronze Buddha statue, one of the largest in the world. The sight of the massive temple gate and the surrounding cherry blossoms is an unforgettable sight.

Kasuga Taisha Shrine: This ancient Shinto shrine is famous for its thousands of stone and bronze lanterns. In spring, these lanterns provide a beautiful backdrop for the cherry blossoms. If you're lucky, you might even see the lanterns lit up at night.

Mount Wakakusa: For a different kind of cherry blossom view, try climbing Mount Wakakusa. From the summit, you'll have a beautiful panoramic view of Nara city, with cherry blossoms blooming all over the city.
